REVICO, a unique enterprise

REVICO is a centre for the valorisation of Charente vinasses, resulting from the double distillation of Cognac eaux-de-vie.
Vinasses, de-alcoholised white wine recovered after distillation, are rich in organic matter. They need to be treated before releasing them into the natural environment.

For more than 50 years, the company has been innovating to improve the processing of vinasses, in particular thanks to its Research & Development unit.

REVICO processes 6 million hectolitres of vinasses every year. Its industrial model is constantly evolving. We are constantly innovating to guarantee the best possible environmental performance.
Every year, the R&D team tests innovative processes in the laboratory, on a pilot scale or on a semi-industrial scale.

Reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy management, improving environmental performance or even increasing the recovery of tartaric acid are all subjects on which the company deploys its brainpower.

ISO 14001 certification

The ISO 14001 certification obtained in 2019 rewards more than 10 years of effort to improve the company’s environmental performance. This certification reflects the commitment of everyone involved in making the process more virtuous and making it part of the circular economy. REVICO is a recognised player in sustainable development at local level.
